How This Course Works
This is a 15-week, fully online, course starting August 19 and ending on December 6
The main course site is D2L. But we will also use ALEKS for assignments.
There is a required textbook, and ALEKS access is required for completing assignments and exams.
You will learn in a community with your peers.
This class does not meet regularly. Your learning will be conducted asynchronously (not live) in D2L.
This class is organized into modules by chapter, each taking 1-2 weeks to complete.
Each module contains readings, lecture videos, homework, quizzes, and an exam.
Time Commitment
You can expect to spend a minimum of 15 hours per week in this class. You will be allowed (and encouraged) to work ahead. Some topics will "click" right away, and that's when you should work ahead. Then, if you get to a topic that doesn't "click"' right away, you have some extra time to process and ask for help.
